A Text Blaze alternative that also remembers what you copy

Text Blaze is a strong text expander. It is not a clipboard manager. If you want snippets and a searchable history of everything you copy in one extension, Clipboard History Pro does both.

Text Blaze facts

How text shortcuts work in Clipboard History Pro

  1. Copy the text you want to reuse, or type it into a text box and copy it.
  2. Open Clipboard History Pro and find the item in your history.
  3. Give it a shortcut, for example :addr or :thanks.
  4. In any text box on a web page, type the shortcut. It expands to the full text.

The free plan includes 5 shortcuts and 5 tags. Pro makes both unlimited. More on the text expander page.

Can I use both?

Yes. Some people keep Text Blaze for complex form templates and use Clipboard History Pro for clipboard history and simple shortcuts. If you do, give each tool different shortcut prefixes so they do not both expand the same text.
