You directly provide Us with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:
- Register online in our services.
- Connect the extension to your browser.
- Install IOS app or IOS app on your devices.
- Use the Extension "Clipboard History Pro", the IOS app "Clipboard History Pro" or the Android app "Clipboard History Pro".
- Provide feedback on any of our message boards or via email.
Our Team may also receive your data indirectly from the following sources:
- Chrome Extension Store
- Google Analytics tools
- Sentry error tracking software
- Chrome Web Store Payments
Our systems also may collect information about your anonymous usage data for analytics purposes to understand how people use our services so that we can make them more intuitive. We do not sell, trade, or rent Users personal identification information to others.
How will we use your data?
Our Team collects your data so that we can:
- Manage your account.
- Fix errors on client browsers.
- Provide legitimate user access.
- Email you with special offers on other products and services we think you might like.
"Clipboard History Pro" uses Google Analytics counter and Sentry error tracking software. We use anonymous error reports in order to provide better product quality and resolve issues as soon as possible. Sentry usage of data covered by the policy (https://sentry.io/privacy/).
We may collect your device id via Google Analytics tools. User’s device id is required in order to know how many users use any given feature and to provide legitimate user access to their accounts. We do not use your device id for any other purpose.
Our services contain paid functionality that is available on a monthly subscription. We use a payment manager Chrome Web Store Payments to receive payment.
Data processing by Chrome Extension Store, Google Analytics tools and Chrome Web Store Payments is covered by the policy of Google (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
How do we store your data?
We automatically record to local database any data copied by you when the extension is activated. The copied data will be saved on your computer, means locally. Extension monitors its user clipboard in order to collect a history of every change. It shows basic info about text clips and allows re-copying any item. It works in Chrome and in software outside it.
Our Team securely stores your cloud data at Chrome Sync Storage in case of using the extension and Firebase cloud service in case of using the iOS app, the Android app and the Mobile cloud.
We take all reasonable and necessary steps to protect the information provided by you from unauthorized access. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect your information obtained by us. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, all History data we collect from you, which may store locally using "Indexed DB" technology. It is not encrypted. Storing and sending cloud items covered by Chrome Sync Storage technology and Firebase cloud service, we just use public API to these technologies.
The cloud synchronization system of "Clipboard History Pro" (Using the send to cloud button) allows its user to send small text clip to Chrome Sync Storage, that sending, storing a data and quotas is covered by the policy of Google (https://policies.google.com/privacy). The synced items are store on Google's servers and the extension developers do not have any access to this data.
The iOS app and the Android app, when active, control the user's clipboard to collect the history of each change. Information stored in the clipboard is automatically transferred to the Mobile cloud and stored there. Data is transmitted over an encrypted protocol and stored in the Firebase cloud service. Sending, storing a data and quotas is covered by the policy of Firebase service (https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy).
Users are strongly discouraged from using our services to store personal, important or sensitive information. Extension and applications are not long-term data storage and cannot be fully secured. Consider our service as a daily routines helper tool.
Our Team will keep your Email address, Device identifiers, IP addresses continuously while you are using our products.
What are your data protection rights?
Our Team would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
The right to access - You have the right to request Our Team for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
The right to rectification - You have the right to request that Our Team correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Our Team to complete information you believe is incomplete.
The right to erasure - You have the right to request that Our Team erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to restrict processing - You have the right to request that Our Team restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to object to processing - You have the right to object to Our Team’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
