Payments Migration
Recently the Chrome Web Store team announced that the built-in CWS Payment system will no longer be available soon.
The Clipboard History Pro extension uses this platform to handle Pro subscriptions. If you are seeing this page - you have access to the Pro features. Thank you for your support!
The first stage of decommissioning the old platform will be in December 2020. It may affect the Pro subscription.
The extension team has made an integration with the new payments provider (Paddle.com), in order to keep payments safe and help you continue using the most powerful features of the Clipboard History extension.
I just want to ask you to kindly make a manual migration. This is a simple process and will only take a few minutes of your time.
Instruction
The instruction has two simple steps:
- Unsubscribe from the old platform
- Subscribe using a new method
Please do not worry about the data stored in your Cloud Pro, it will not be deleted during the transition.
Step 1: Unsubscribe
1. Open this Google Pay page to manage your subscriptions: https://pay.google.com/payments/home#subscriptionsAndServices
2. Find the service named Enable Pro Features and click Manage.
3. On the next page find the section 'Subscriptions Status' and click Cancel Subscription.
4. That’s all for the first step. Now, let’s restore our new subscription in the new platform.
Step 2: Restore Subscription
1. Open the 'Clipboard History Pro' extension and select Pro Features from the menu.
2. In the modal window click Activate Pro free trial.
3. You will see the new activation page
4. On the page, you may want to select the billing period and save some
money, by choosing the annual period.
Click the big button which says Activate Pro
5. The page will ask you to Sign-In to continue.
Please note: if you previously had a subscription, click Sign in with
Google and use the same account that you have used before ( it will
most likely be the same account you were using in your Chrome browser
profile).
6. After that, you will be redirected to our website, Clipboardextension.com, where you can follow the instructions and safely input new payment data.
All the payment data you are providing is securely handled by our partner, Paddle.com.
